The SportHunter SD 1200 is a incredibly versatile training
collar and a good choice for all around use.
Eight intensity levels can be quickly adjusted with the dial on the side of the
transmitter. Teach yardwork/obedience and enforce known commands with lower levels
of stimulation. Use higher levels to stop unwanted chasing or to overcome strong
distractions.
This means that you can instantly adjust intensity whenever distractions increase.
There's also a separate button for delivering a quick pre-set duration of momentary
stimulation for enforcing commands the dog already knows and for correcting
behavior.
The SD 1200 comes set up as an 8 level continuous and 8 level momentary
stimulation one dog collar, but it can easily be changed into seven different
button configuration. This allows you to customize your tranmitter to your
training needs. You are also able to trasform your one dog system into a two dog
unit with the "Add-A-Dog" feature.
The one dog setups include such features as 8 levels continuous and 8 levels
momentary, 8 levels continuous and a level 8 instant "hot" button for dangerous situations, 8 levels contiunous with a "plus 2" button that allows you to increase the stimulation level by 2 levels without changing the dial, 8 levels of continous stimulation with tone and a tone only button, 8 levels of continous stimulation with no tone and a tone only button.
The two dog features includes one choice of 8 levels of continuous stimulation with each dog controlled by a separate button or 8 levels of momentary stimulation with each dog controlled by a separate button
