Recommend if you hunt heavy cover!

I was struggling finding my GSP on point in heavy cover with using a bell. Took a chance and bought this collar. Not disappointed! Unexpected bonus is that tone seems to anger Roosters and they will cackle at the collar when you hit the field.

I have used the collar a number of times and it is really nice. It seems very well built. Time will tell! I don't really have anything bad to say about the collar or Gun Dog Supply.

I actually wanted the double beeper, but they were on back order so in the interim I ordered the single beep. I prefer a beeper that can be heard both because my dogs range, and because after decades of loud music and loud guns, my hearing isn't what it used to be. I was pleased with the distance the beep could be heard on this collar. It seems like a stout quality product that will withstand the treatment my shorthairs will give it and has worked well so far. I did call the manufacturer with a question and they were helpful and knowledgeable. While I dont know yet how long one charging session will last, ( I'm hoping it's at least 8-10 hours) I'm pleased enough to go ahead and order the double beeper collar as well

I only had the chance to use it twice since I bought it. The old model was powered with a 9v which I liked a lot more. This model is much heavier and only has the one beep style. It is loud and the speaker is raised higher above the dogs head (versus the old model) which seems to not affect them as much and helps get the sound out there when they are in the grass. We hunted a swamp and it seemed that it handled the water. Waiting to test it in the snow. The directions are vague on initial charging which ruined the first time we went out and it died mid way thru. Charge it for a long time after you receive it and it should work just fine.

It gives excellent sound and only beeps when dog is on point. Charge lasts a long time. I have tried others, and this is the only one I use now. I have been using for 9 years.
