My dog uses this bumper for Dock Diving and he loves it. It is lightweight and is not too wide for him to hold it in his mouth while swimming. Just look at the pic of him catching it!

the thought of this is great. However it tends be be a little awkward for the dogs sometimes. I like it for that reason though. Great to add something other than the standard round to get them comfortable with all shapes

Best Training Bumper I've ever used!

Dog using this Bumper: < 1 year old male Vizsla. This is a great training bumper for a young dog. It has multiple surfaces for a young dog to grab onto, until they learn to handle it from the center. It's always in the training box. It makes a lot of noise, and a big splash, when it hits the water, which is essential for a young dog to learn to mark a retrieve. It has good weight to it, and I can throw it 40-50 yards. A good distance for a young Vizlsa. This bumper was critical to introducing my Vizlsa to water, and water retrieval training. The description says "plastic", but the bumpers I received are a soft, pliable, material. They're not a cheap,hard, plastic bumper. This is a quality training aid! I have had a 100% success rate with water retrievals with this bumper. My dog has never blinked this bumper in the water.

Great Bumper! My dog grabs these bumpers in the middle more than reg bumpers. She likes retrieving them in the water better. I do think the grooves help.

Agree on the price. We're working on it. Manufacturing in the USA with medical grade materials is pretty expensive, but for us it beats not knowing who made this and out of what material. -- ROB SNELL
