Nice big bell
August 4, 2025
A good size bell for a medium or large dog. Well made out of steel with a cast clapper. Just need to sew up a loop of webbing for the collar.

Can you hear me now
June 4, 2025
Bells may be old school, but they work ! In windy conditions I know exactly where my dog is out to about 40 to 50 yard with this lower tone bell and out to about 65+ yards in good conditions . Working birds in heavy cover without a bell finds me looking at a tracking screen way too much, and hunting less , plus the bell adds a certain charm and connection to the whole hunting experience I really like this this bell because of the low tone and I keep two extras in the truck highly recommend you giving it a try. Cheap enough that if you don't like it, you can leave it in the truck . good hunting

Good bell, needs strap
October 31, 2023
I should have read the description a little closer, this will not fit a standard collar, the width of the hole is too narrow. I will sew a strap for it. Otherwise solid bell for the price, good tone and volume.

Well built, good sound travel
July 8, 2021
Used on my lab when hiking, sound traveled a good distance, well built and for the price a winner. This bell must be firmly attached to collar to get reliable rings. If it dangles loose on collar it didn't ring as often as I'd like. The bell will fit a 3/4" width collar but its a little tight.

Hunt with a bell in the woods
July 6, 2021
The bell is another must have in the northwoods. Direction, speed, distance, and whether dog is on point or stopped-- this bell does the trick. This dog bell combined with bright orange Sylmar Body Guard vest, e-collar, and whistle allows for a successful hunt in and around the timber. It allows you to hunt and communicate with a fast dog. I use the e-collar less and have more timely use of the whistle because of the bell.

Great Sound and Price

For my ears and money you can't beat this bell. I can hear it well even on windy days when the dog is in heavy cover. I have a few of them as before I threaded them onto collar I went through at least one per year! Use it as a training bell and backup to my Sunkhaze.

Bigger than expected.

The bell is bigger than I thought it would be. May be bulky for the dog.

Almost loud enough.
December 22, 2020
I have not yet found a bell that is loud enough to keep track of my dog if it gets more than 50 yards out (30 on a windy day), but this one comes closer than any others I've tried.Fits

It is louder than conventional bells
December 19, 2020
This was an impulse buy, needing another small item to get to free shipping. Reviews say this bell is louder, which I was begrudgingly needing. It is, indeed, louder, than the old brass-plated bell I was reusing. It is also a little heavier, which doesn't seem to bother my draht, but could be an issue for those with smaller breeds or a dog with more common sense. My only criticism is that the rectangular "loop" on the bell is too narrow for a standard 3/4" collar, so one has to figure out a connection. It would be easier to connect, then, if it was a round loop rather than rectangular, so it hangs properly. I would prefer that the "loop" was wide enough to slip the dog's collar through it though.

Works as intended

Went for this bell instead of a beeper collar. For $4 you really cant beat it. Its pretty loud so I put a strip of duck tape on one side, and now its perfect. This is a perfect budget option to know where your dog is in the field.

Bell does what it was advertised to do. Was hoping to be able to hear it at a little bit further distances in hilly dense woods, but works well out to about two hundred yards or so. Dog doesn't seem to mind when wearing it.

I bought two bells for the doors in each of our homes. They are loud and work great. Yes, I train our Lab to ring them when she wants to go out.

She doesn't like thunder and will hide at the sound of thunder or fireworks. She hated the bell; thought I was trying to kill her. Lesson learned. I will never do that again. Thanks God my place is fenced. I am sure it would work great on other dogs. It has a great sound!

This is the nicest bell I can find and just the perfect size for my beagles. I can hear the bell a decent ways out. I just replace the clip it comes with and zip tie it on there collar, so the clip doesn't get caught on the pickers and brush.

I get more positive feedback from other hikers. They love the fact that they can hear my dog coming on the trails.
