The Cato board is everything I wanted. Looks like it will endure outside use for quite some time. Very easy ordering and quick delivery.

Ordered the Cato place board for my Golden puppy. I've never used one before and I'm now wondering why.

My dog took to the place boards as a 'target' almost immediately. On retrieves, puppies have a tendency to overrun as a game . With the place board, the new game was to return immediately to her target, to sit, and deliver to hand, and the transformation was almost immediate. The second benefit was the intuitive casting, creating confidence in the puppy.

Utilized the platform for more field "place" training and very pleased.

First time to use own or use a Cato Board. I actually felt it was to short for the down position for my Aussie but my trainer assured me it is correct and will clean up his downs and stands. My Aussie and Border Collie have now learned how to drive back to the board. I will have to order another board so they each have their own!

This board is exactly what I was looking for. It is sturdy and the rubber top is secure while not being slippery.

Well made the platform.The Cato board is very stable with a non-slip surface .Like the fact there are no sharp edges for your dogs to get cut on,nicely contoured edges.Multiple uses for the Cato boards from obedience to field work.Lightweight and easy to transport.

It's a sturdy product, but if you're not a professional, or training multiple dogs the cost doesn't add up to the value.

My River Stone Kennels just over a year old Wynstan 'Wyn' were struggling with the Fetch-Hold-Drop exercise, especially the 'Hold' after the retrieve. We've been working on this very important exercise on the Training Table for a long time. On the Training Table Wyn was fine, but on the retrieve he was struggling with the 'Hold'. Upon receiving the Cato Board, and a short period of time to adjust to the platform... It was like a revelation! Wyn has had no issues holding the bumper! It was like a light bulb went on, and we've had a very large advancement in our training!I would recommend the Cato place training to all dog owners working on the place command, and the Fetch-Hold-Drop retrieving training process.

The Cato board is a great training device for any dog sport. I am using it to teach'place' for sending to bumpers, waiting for obedience exercises and just a spot for my 18 month old lab to learn commands and patience😂. It is light weight and sturdy. I wouldn't mind if they added a handle to the side for easing carrying!

This is a great tool for training your dog, regardless of the type of training. I use it for my retriever work waterfowl. It gives her a specific "place" to come back to work her bird. Once she understood what her place is, it makes it that much more easy to teach directionals.

I wish I could have had the Cato board 30 years ago!

Not a hunter. But the Cato board is a really sturdy platform for agility and performance training. The board is a really nice target for dogs. Very visible very stable and does not shift. I can use the Cato board with another ramp to practice agility contacts.

It's study and withstands drops and impacts. Cleans up easily with a hose.

The rubber top is easy for your dog's feet to grab onto. I use as incline side balance to increase strength in weak knees in my dog. Al's have grass top which is good for place.
