This is my 3rd 'starter pistol'. I had two less expensive pistols that had many mis-fires and returned them both. This gun was more expensive but it works!! I love this pistol.

It was great until it broke. I had to send it to manufacturer to be fixed after only firing about 10 rounds. I am hoping that was an anomaly and that once fixed it will stay together for a long time.

I was looking for a light weight .209. This gun is very light weight. Only flaw is the spent rounds do not eject from the cylinder very well. Oil helped but I made a poker that I keep with my blanks.

Ejector rod had rust on it making it almost impossible to move to swing out the cylinder. Penetrating oil fixed that. 209 primers are difficult to remove from one of the slots on the ejector. Seems durable but have only fired about 100 times. Not sure it is worth more than twice cost of cheaper Import model I had which lasted 3 years before it broke. If Charter Arms will really warrant lifetime of use it will be worth it. Time will tell. It is loud so use ear plugs or hold it as far from your ear as you can.
