Dokken's Dead Fowl Trainers -- Cinnamon Puppy Teal

Nice training aid, the head is rock hard and the body is solid and soft on the pups mouth- helps them carry the bird correctly in pre-school.

I have had a variety of the Dokken ducks over the past decade for my American Labrador as a toy to retrieve at the beach. They hold up remarkably well from constant exposure to salt water and I only replace when I want a different looking duck. Dokken is my go to every time.

My 9 yr old Labrador grew up with Dokkens. Every morning, she wants a few retrieves. I give her a choice between flagged bumpers, Dokken Dead Fowl trainers and plain cylindrical bumpers. Most of the time she chooses the Dokken. We have a new lab puppy on the way (same breeder. Pup will actually be a niece of our current dog). The puppy will start out with a flagged canvas bumper and quickly move to the Dokken Greenwing puppy teal.Dokkens are easy to throw, easy to clean and durable. They last through thousands of retrieves. And the dogs love them.

I use the Mini-Mallard for my "hold" conditioning drills. We like to use a variety of items on the hold table. Bumpers, dowels, plastic bottles, and now the Mini-Mallard. It is making our training more successful. Thanks for another great product.

I have a small female Brittany who handles this dummy very well given its smaller size. Great for summer lake training. Highly recommend!

Started with the baby mallard at 7 weeks. Stepped up to the puppy mallard at 8.5 weeks and 20 lbs

Got this for my 10 week old WPG and he loves it. At first I was worried about how well the toy would hold up, but it's held up fine. He carries the duck by the rope wherever he goes. I highly recommend the toy for any dog.

Puppy likes it! I put the waterfowl stick scent on it. With a power throw ball it's super sweet!

I purchased this teal trainer decoy for working with my 11 week old golden retriever. The size is perfect and my puppy reacts to it with much more enthusiasm then the standard canvas dummy trainers. I cut the rope off to encourage the puppy to properly pick up the decoy versus just grabbing the rope.

The Dokken puppy sized trainer is perfect size and weight for my 4-5 month old pup. I was concerned about the size and weight transitioning from a round bumper, but he fetched perfectly the first time.

Brought this out just to see what my 8 wk old puppy would do. He loves this thing! Good weight to it and the rope is nice for throwing. Thanks for the fast service!

The dummy is a great size for puppy training on land. I pup has had trouble seeing the dummy in the water.

The Dokkens line of training dummies are the perfect addition to my arsenal. They have movement in the neck and their shape intrigue young dogs and hold their interest. The bodies are soft and their shape encourages a proper hold. This size in particular is perfect for a puppy. My little man started using these around 5 months. The full sized mallard is a bit too cumbersome for him to handle properly at this point. This size fit the bill!

The teal Dokken has been a great training tool for my 6 month old lab. It establishes good hold habits for young dogs; feels more like a bird; and holds sent, which is great for developing confidence for cold game drills and blinds (see deadfowl scent injector and National Scent Company scents). My pup loves it and retrieves it with enthusiasm. Training is all about understanding relative values and rewards. To that end, the teal Dokken has been great for building retriever skills with my pup.

Start my pup with this one at 4 months, and she loves it and gets extra excited when I carry it out to the backyard. Gonna be getting the Wood Duck at 5 months and the Mallard at 6 months.

This mini mallard was the perfect size dokken to start teaching my puppy to get a feel for retrieving a real-like bird. And he absolutely loves it!

I bought this for my dog so she would retrieve. I throw this in the bay (Gulf of Mexico) and she brings it back wagging her tail. Better than a stick...because I can see it and she seems to like it better. She is a happy camper and so am I. He day job is office manager. She has been having fun on her break from her meet and greet job chasing the dokken.
