Overall this is a good choice for your dummy launcher. Shoots the dummy a fairly long way and much less destructive than the "red" loads on your equipment and hand. Very few duds. A few will fail to fire and you just rotate the load so the firing pin strikes a different area.

The worst I've ever used.

I've been training my own labs for 30 years making extensive use of dummy launchers as much of my training is by myself. These are the worst blanks I've ever bought. They are too small for the opening in my launcher. About every third one misfires making it virtually impossible to reliably work on double, triple or more marks. As well, these yellow blanks produce distances about 30 to 40 yards shorter than those I have used in the past.

These loads are poor at best. I would estimate that one third (33) of a box of 100 were misfires. My launcher was clean and the firing pin strikes were solid. Shells are not being loaded with the appropriate amount of powder. Bluepoint needs to work on their quality control. Other customers have complained about the same issues. I will not purchase again.

Some are duds.

Hate to say it but a good number of these cartridges are duds. The ones that are good work well, but a good 20 to 25% are duds. They just go pop and the dummy only goes about 10 feet.

Misfires

The last 600 rounds I purchased have had an unacceptable number of low power rounds,. 28.45% of one box barely launched the dummies 15'. I contacted Bluepoint and was told to clean my device (launcher). The launcher was cleaned prior to use. A second complaint emailed to Bluepoint has not been responded to. Clearly, the company sees dog training use as a low priority compared to their construction sales. Prior purchase typically had no misfires.
