    This is the bird bag that I use for quail or pigeons. It's easy to load up the number of birds that I need for a training season and carry them in to the field. This bag makes putting birds in and getting them out easy. It's also less stressful for the birds and is less likely to damage their feathers.

    I also like to carry this bag with me while I train in case I need an extra bird. It's perfect if you have a planted bird that won't flush. Just pull one out the bag and your dog gets success on his point.

    I also have it with me when I want to reload a launcher after my pup has pointed and I have flushed the bird.

    I ordered this product because when training dogs I have so much going on that keeping track of training birds is a challenge. This bag is easy to carry and has ample room for several birds. The spring-loaded closure works just as advertised.

    We used these bird bags for a NAGDA event in Nebraska. The bird planters thought they worked very well. They were not able to put more than two pheasants in each bag but we were able to put four chukars in them and they worked well. They stayed closed while the birds were in them and that was a plus.

    Seems well made, not too big and plenty of space for birds (quail or chukars), gloves and other misc items used for planting and working birds.
