The product worked well, but in all things it helps to have a basic understanding of tracking along with a dog with the right drive for the work. My Belgian Malinois took to it very quickly. I began to leave the pelt at the end of the track and got eve better results. More scent pulled up and allowed me to get a proximity alert from my dog.

I tried to lay a sent trail down on a morning with a heavy dew on the ground and the scent on the hide and blood was very weak towards the end of the trail. My beagle followed the trail but keep loosing it in the turns when usually it is a steady pull all the way to the game that she tracks. I have tried with a better scent condition it seemed to work fine. Also, blood went quick if using a little every once in a while to put blood in the trail. I save deer blood through out the year and mix half with water and freeze just so I can use on mock trails. The watered down, thawed out blood seems to be a lot stronger than the blood in the kit.
