As with all Dogtra products this is quality item. The only thing I don't like is the magnet system to turn it on and off.

I purchased the collar after a few questions that were answered by the Gun Dog Supply personnel. The collar works great, I was loosing contact with my dog due to hearing loss and the collar is loud enough for me to follow her while running and easy to locate when on point. Buy one !!!

Needs to be smaller

System works well but it should be much smaller and lighter. My GSP only weighs 33 lbs and the weight throws her off.

Bought this after upgrading to a Garmin System from a beeper/ecollar combo. I'm really happy with the tone, range, and battery life. Also waterproofed very good. The sensor could be more sensitive as far as when the pointing tone turns on. It comes on very quickly and can stay on unnecessarily. Also the magnet activator can be an aggravation if you're dog won't stay perfectly still on the tailgate. All in all I'm a fan.

This is the first beeper collar I, as well as my dog have used. Super easy to operate and he took right to it. Just used it today in the field and worked like a charm!
