Great collar, fantastic price-point, and superb service

Simple to use and lightweight make this a great option for a young dog. Range is limited (700 yds) but as a training collar this is perfect to establishing boundaries for a close to medium range dog. Have a young English Setter that makes this lightweight collar a 'perfect fit' for both introduction and works on my adult dogs as well. Overall, this collar is a Bargain by all standards and worth every penny! Gun dog supply had thin at my door in 3 days! Overall Great experience!

Very glad I decided to try the DT system. Super easy to program, and switching between dogs is very distinctive. The remote is easy to operate, and small enough for a tiny person with large dogs to handle! I have the Garmin, Dogtra, and Sport Dog trainers as well but the DT is quickly becoming my go to trainer. The receiver is nice and compact and the antenna built into the entire length of the collar is a nice feature. I would definitely purchase another DT system.

Effective small lightweight electric unit. Very useful for training a 4 month hound pup. Chas capability of many stimulation settings, also vibrating and tone. Does not work for long distance distance, yet works on flat ground absent of interfering bush very well. Again, a very easy to use training tool.Negatives: collar is hard to position with an insubstantial latch. A wider webbing/electronic collar with a tougher latch would be great.The training film, included, is stepwise and helpful.Overall a good product at a fair price,

This collar has been great! We have 2 blue heelers and this collar has done its job for sure!! It's very easy to use and very easy to set up! For the longest time we only had one of these collars and just swapping them between each dog depending on who needed more attention when it comes to training. Soon that wasn't enough anymore and I bought another one! Bought the collar/remote set both times and after some pretty simple pairing steps we now have both DD700's paired into one remote (we have the second remote as a spare or for traveling in case we have to split them up. Overall it's an awesome collar set and has done great!!

Good e-collar, but two issues for me

Overall, this is a very good collar. My issues with it are, 1) It only comes with a short set of contact points and no ability to order longer ones. I have a Golden Retriever and even with the collar adjusted per instructions, her heavy neck fur would lead to inconsistent contact. This was very frustrating. 2) The Jump Function requires that you push two buttons at once to activate. This requires two hands and was impossible for me to do with one. I don't think I have a small hand. I did appreciate the number of stimulation settings, the vibrate and tone function, along with the nick button. I will be returning this collar for the Dogtra Just Right.

DD700 improvements needed

The system is just ok. My dogs have long hair and the electrodes do not always make good contact with the skin. I get it tight but the more the dogs move around hair gets in the way causing the contacts to loose connection. This causes the system not to work properly. It needs interchangeable electrodes for short hair and long hair dogs. The 700 yards is also a big stretch unless the dog is across a wide open field. I live in an area with lots of trees and i get about half of that 700 yard range.
