Anti-Glare Screen Protector Application Anti-Glare Screen Protectors Packaging

Does NOT fit Alpha 200i.

These Garmin screen protectors reduce sunlight glare on the Alpha's display, minimize fingerprint smudges and protect against scratches. Includes 3 per package.

Applying the Anti-glare Screen Protector:

  • Using a lint-free cloth, clean the device screen
  • Partially peel back the protective film from the adhesive side of the protector (tab 1) about one inch
  • With the adhesive side down, align the side of the exposed protector (1) with the edge of one side of the screen
  • Carefully pull the film back to expose the adhesive surface and apply the protector on the screen
      NOTE: Make sure the edges of the protector line up with the screen edges of the device
  • If you notice problems, carefully peel the protector off from a corner of the screen and re-apply
  • Slide the applicator card across the protector to remove possible air bubbles and firmly adhere it to the device
  • Remove the liner from the top side (tab 2) of the screen protector

    They work very well, and I can tell the difference in the amount of glare from the screen, which normally is a problem for me in the field. I'm looking for screen protection in the field too, for basic rubbing and scratches, which I think these will help out on too. The protectors are a little narrower than the screen, so you see a line on one side if you mounted it flush to the other side. Other than that pretty good so far

    I was most worried about protecting the screen, which is what it does. But the glare is hard to ignore. I have to position myself so the gps is in the shade

    Seems to work fine -- touch sensitive. I cannot rate the protection feature fully as I have only had it a short time. Went on OK after some repositioning. I still have issues with glare, thus the slightly lower rating.

    Works good. Easy to install. Just have to make sure Alpha display is extremely clean. Otherwise you will have a little air pocket under the screen protector. Doesn't seem to affect the touch screen sensitivity very much.

    It does what it is supposed to do. Protects the screen and makes it easier to keep clean. Seems to handle the glare quite well. I did have to get my wife to put it on the Alpha though! She's better at installing those screen protectors than I am!!
