    • How to Match Collars to Your Garmin Delta XC / SE System

    Please read all steps before starting.


    1. Turn the collar receiver on so you see the green indicator light flashing.



    2. Turn the transmitter on and select an intensity level greater than 0. On Delta / Delta XC models, press the dog selection button to set it to the desired color (Black, Red or Blue). On Delta SE models, select Dog 1 or Dog 2 with the sliding dog selector switch.



    3. Press and hold the power button on the collar. The collar will beep once. Continue to hold the button. After 5-6 seconds the collar will beep again.



    4. While still holding the collar button, after the second beep press and release any of the three training buttons on the transmitter.



    5. The collar will beep for the third time completing the synchronization process. Release the power button on the collar.



    6. Turn the collar on and press the training buttons to confirm the components are communicating.

    I already had a Garmin E collar and remote. I needed a second one for my other dog. I ordered the collar only that was compatible with my Garmin remote. It was super easy to pair with the remote, so I can toggle back-and-forth on one remote for both dogs.

    The folks at the Gun Dog Supply packaged this training collar came with the blue collar strap I wanted to add my second dog option to the base package. Their price was the same as Amazon but I had no certainty Amazon would have sent a blue collar; the photo showed the add on was also orange like the one in the single dog package.
    This is the second Garmin dog collar I bought from Gun Dog Supply. They ship on the same or next day the order was placed. I prefer the personalized service!

    • The collar was easy to charge and pair with the hand-held device. I need the longer prongs for my English Setter while my Vizsla is fine with the short probes. One half mile range is adequate for my upland hunting needs. I expect this to be very dependable. It replaces a 15 year old same model that still worked and held a charge about half the hours as a new unit. The collar strap was really worn and I couldn

    • When I trimmed the collar for a small neck the cut edge tends to fray/separate even after I tried melting it with heat. No other cons.

    All good except the directions. The booklet included doesn't cover the transmitter I have & the videos, one from Garmin & one from GDS, are both incomplete information. (push this button or do this without getting the instruction booklet for the transmitter back out) Between the two videos & the transmitter booklet for my XC I figured it out. Other than that, we're golden.
