There is plenty of map detail and maybe more than necessary. I am still working with it to learn all the information it provides. A word of advice is if you have a German Shorthair don't leave the SD card adapter lay around with the micro chip in it. Only took him 2 minutes to find the adapter and destroy it. He should be a marine.

Excellent detail on maps...Always a good feeling to know where our dogs are....and easily catch them with the tone, very rarely do we have to discipline them....kinda spoils us ....but it lessen the stress of losing our dogs...

I purchased this chip wondering if I could use it on my 200i and not carry my iPhone with OnX in the woods on my annual grouse hunt in Wisconsin. The content of this package does not compare with OnX for which you can get the entire country for $100. Garmin's needs to do the right thing for it's loyal customers and add OnX capability to the 200i. Garmin's position on this will cause me to consider other brands next time I purchase dog training gear.

This was just the answer it works great in the astro 430but I like it much better in the garmin drive track 71 it'llmake tracking your dog's 100% easier especially if you already know the area a little.a side note for astro an alpha make sure your unit is update before using this...Hunt hard good luck keep them dogs safe 👍
