    • Top prongs came through the shipping box and some of the protective rubber coating where the gun rests wore off before I received it. I just put duck tape on the unit to prevent gun barrel scratches.

    Was skeptical at first. I purchased on for Waterfowl season but used it on opening day of Dove season . It worked great so I purchased two more for my sons.

    I have not had an opportunity to use item yet, but the quality looks to be what I was looking for. This is stop my guns from getting scratched up during training.

    I haven't used the gun stand yet but plan to do so waterfowl hunting while sitting in natural cover. It is a little too shinny and I am concerned this might flare wary birds. I plan on wrapping some camo tape on it it to avoid this happening.

    • To shinny for waterfowl hunting. It would be better if it was painted in a dull non-reflective black, olive drab, or camo color.

    Gun stands for HRC Retriever Tests

    Our club will be hosting HRC Tests this year and so ordered 6 of these stands. They seem strong but only time will tell if they fill the bill. In the past I have made them from scratch but these seem well thought out and more professionally done. Our Test Grounds are very rocky and time will also tell if we can prevent folks from pounding them in the ground with hammers and rocks, ruining equipment. As with holding blinds, If they don't go in with the foot braces, they ain't going in. Only gave 4 stars not as a knock, but because they are untested as of yet.
