How to Build a Pigeon House / Coop Plans -- Download

In my initial review, I complained about shipping costs being excessive on what ousted to 4 or 5 sheets of paper. The company reached out immediately and reconciled my issue. You just don't get that everywhere. With that kind of follow up, I will definitely purchase from them again for my gun dog needs.

These plans were what I needed. Pretty straight forward and it turned out nice.

The instructions are very basic and vague. Some of the drawings are not very clear either. I think that expecting to house 16 pigeons in the structure long term isn't very realistic without a large attached flight pen. Ultimately, you can construct a nice starter pigeon loft with the instructions just plan on spending some time trying to mentally work out exactly what the instructions are telling you to do.

It was easy and straight forward. Only challenge is some of materials are no longer "in" materials. Make sure the boards for walls are the durability you want...I used a wainscoat type and not as sturdy as I would like it to be...but with that stated I am not handy and it is still standing! So a win!

Had a lot of scrap lumber left over, but built a good co-op that is useful.

The coop itself is great, but the plans take some studying to understand. I am a journeyman toolmaker, and it was difficult at times to decipher what was going on. Just be sure to take a careful look at it before jumping into building it. Also, spend the money and buy screws instead of the nails it recommends in the parts list. It will go easier and be sturdier. And speaking of sturdier, the plan does not call for a center support for the ceiling, but I recommend adding one just to make the roof more solid. You will have enough left over material to do that.

The instructions were very vague. No real pictures of each step, and I found it useless for my needs! The only good thing was that I didn't spend much money for it. I designed my own and have it almost completed. This one had confusing steps which a picture would have helped tremendously, but there wasn't any. I do not recommend this. Spend the extra money and get a complete package.

The pigeon house plan was useful. I modified it to make it larger and it has worked well.

Not a very good carpenter but turned out ok. Could be a little more detail but all in all pretty good directions.

this plan made it easy to build . also the list of lumber and hardware made the buold go faster. follow the steps and yo cannot go wrong. follow the plan exact and you will see how it falls in place .do all your own cuts of the wood because the scrap and left overs are used later on in he plan im just getting done with my loft and im use nut certs for the front so i will be able to take the whole front off for easy cleaning. real oictures would have made it eaiser but i must say the loft came out real nice .

Could use a little more detail, maybe some 3 dimensional sketches or some photos.
