The Hurtta Cooling Coat is designed to make your dog more comfortable in hot weather and when exposed to the sun. Ideal for summer training for active dogs and for outdoor dog shows. The Cooling Coat uses evaporative cooling to cool your dog's back and chest and helps make the heat more tolerable. It has an adjustable belt and collar and a detachable belly flap. An opening on the back allows a leash to be fed through when using a harness.

    Using the Cooling Coat:

    Rinse the Cooling Coat thoroughly in cold water. Carefully wring out excess water until the coat no longer drips. The coat will cool your dog as the water evaporates. The duration of the cooling effect varies based on air temperature, humidity, and size of your dog. Do not leave your dog unattended while wearing the Cooling Coat because the coat's cooling effect decreases as it dries.
