Tail protectors

Have a hard time keeping them on even when using several kinds of medical tape and electrical tape or duct tape etc. These eastern NC cutovers and thickets along with hard hunting Elhew pointer tail crack just tear em off.

I've got a Gordon Setter with a thin tail and not much hair on the end. She would beat that thing bloody hunting. I simply taped this on with some heavy duty medical type tape and it stayed on just fine and protected her tail beautifully.

I think these tail protectors are more for a short tail dog. My Lab has a problem with bleeding at the top of his tail 4 to 5 inches from the top. Have a hard time keeping the protector on the tail.
