Today we're looking at the lanyards by Mendota. We've got several different styles. Lanyards are for holding whistles, as a general rule. We have a bunch of different kinds of the Mendota's. Mendota is mid-priced. They cover lots of different things. You've got just your basic single snap. And then, for somebody like myself who likes to carry a backup whistle or if you use a different kind of whistle for different commands, you've got you a double snap so you can put two whistles on it. We've got some that have compasses on them and we've got some that have compasses and then they have counters. If you want to keep up with number of coveys, number of birds, anything along those lines, you've got your counters on here on a double-snap. Then we've also got one that is a combination whistle/duck call lanyards.

Lanyards are important to have on whistles. You keep them around your neck, keep them where they are easy to get to. And that way, when you need to use a whistle command you can get to your whistle really fast.

I was looking for a lanyard that had only the two attachments, one for the duck call and one for the whistle. This lanyard is perfect. Easy to attach to both the whistle and the call. It appears sturdy, but the material is not too coarse when around my neck. The reasonable price tops it off. I am very pleased with this lanyard and have already recommended it to my friend.

Cons

Would not work if you needed more than two pieces of equipment attached.

Nice lanyard; a great whistle for teaching "sit on whistle" exercises.

A very nice product. The whistle is first class for "sit" exercises when the dog is at some distance. If you still have decent lungs this whistle will get the dog's attention at great distances.And having looked for lanyards for other training whistles I am pleased how comfortable and accommodating this one can be. I'm very happy I selected it.Note: While the whistle could be used to finally get the attention of wandering offspring I think the in-laws might think you are being a bit mean. But hey, it will get their attention (along with any dogs, too.).Thanks, as usual for another good product

Combo duck call and whistle landyard

I found it on their site after looking on 6 other sites, every other site had a landyard for two calls but nor a combo. It it became a little frustrating looking. Now I'm looking for a nice braided leather one..
