MOmarsh Versa Vest with Optifade Timber Camo Panels

Absolutely great vest and stand. My lab is 105 lbs. I purchased the extra large panel separately and am glad I did. It worked as described. He's large and very deep chested. The expansion panel worked perfectly. There's tons of adjustability, it's comfortable on him. From the first time it was on him it was natural and he had no fitting issues. He retrieves comfortably with no rubbing/no cutting. Can't say enough about this vest. The final hunt huntstand is awesome as well. Well made and sturdy. It seems comfortable as he will jump up on it by himself if it happens to be set up in the garage from a previous training.

This was exact product I had been searching for my dog. He has thin fur and would always get jabbed by debris in the water. The orange makes it easy to spot him through the woods and water. Vest is heavy duty and doesn't look/feel cheap.

We have a 7 month old Weimaraner that is 81 pounds or more by now and still growing. Getting a vest that would fit him now and when he is full grown seemed impossible. Then I happened across Gun Dog Supply. They had exactly what we needed to protect him from the cold and brush depending on if he is fishing with Daddy or hunting eastern Oregon. This vest is like it says, fully adjustable, easy to put together and not too bad to put on a wiggly puppy! The information on the web-site was informative and very helpful. Due to the universal fit, no cutting is required and you can really get a good fit for your dog body shape. The hook and loop design is very rugged. Just got back from ducking hunting in Arkansas and would highly recommend this vest. Its not the cheapest but you get what you pay for with this one.

Great instructional video to show you exactly how to fit it well to any size dog. The Velcro is the strongest I've ever seen so the camo panels are very firmly attached. Love the handle and leash D-ring for running with my dog while I ride my bike too to exercise him. Excited to use product in the duck blind this fall!

This vest was so easy to get a good fit on our Korthals Griffon. He has a deep chest so we wanted something that would fit closely to his body to provide protection & warmth. This vest does just that! The velcro is very secure once placed, I didn't have to worry about it loosening if he gets real active. The orange panels are also very visible which is great for when we're out shed hunting or just hiking around the woods.

Both of our pups got new vests for Christmas and being able to adjust them to fit just right was great! They are both 9 months old so they will need to be adjusted as they grow!

I don't know about you but my rowdy GSP will wait for no one. We got this vest because he tore up his underside going ham at our woodsy dog park. It protected him nicely and maybe wore him out a little extra because it's kind of heavy. Once the chest piece was adjust it didn't rub so hard on his armpits. Then about a week in the zipper jammed and I had to wrestle him to get the Velcro apart in order to get him out of the thing. I was not allowing the muddy/dirty vest in the house, we have a dog bath we use before coming inside. So I got extra dirty in the process trying to get him out of the vest and he thought it was a game. Momarsh said they're sending me a new one but I haven't seen it yet.

This is my second MoMarsh vest. I've used Avery and Cabela's neoprene vests on my Goldens, but now I have two Flat Coated Retrievers and those other vests are built for Labradors not skinny Flat Coats. My male is 60 lbs but my little female is a petite 42 lbs. These MoMarsh vests fit them both perfectly!Yes, it's a bit of work getting them adjusted, and the Velcro on the outer camo later is SO sticky, but the result is excellent when other vests just can't be made to fit. Best of all, the dogs are warm.

After trying several different vest for my 42 lb. Chocolate Lab, this was the first one that came close to fitting properly. We are on our second however. The first one I fitted to the dog using the very helpful MOmarsh video, took the dog out a few times in the yard doing fun exercises with her to get her used to wearing a vest. First trip out duck hunting went to put the vest on at the boat launch and the zipper broke. Gun Dog Supply was very helpful in getting a replacement to me with 3 different options of doing so. The second vest so far after two trips to the swamp seems to be working out.

Keeps my boy warmer when it's cold and very visible with the blaze orange. The only problem is that he wore a skin soar in his arm pit from the vest when we did a five hour hike chasing pheasants . I only discovered the problem after he was licking his leg pits the next day.

So far so good. Love the modular fit, really nice to fit your dog once, then just zip him up. Definately recommend.

Camo covers interfere with zipping up way to much. I am returning and will order a different one from you.

This vest takes about 5 minutes to put together to properly fit your dog. If done correctly, it's the best fitting vest you have ever seen. The warmth and protection it provides is second to none!!!!Mo-Marsh hit a home run with this one. As a professional dog trainer and avoid hunter, I highly recommend this vest!!!!

I have two Chessies and they both adapted really quick. It isn't super cold yet but it did keep them both warm and protected so far.

The MOmarsh Versa vest fits and works exactly as described on the website. It is easy to fit to each dog, and once fitted, very easy to put on with the zipper. My two GSP puppies are still jumping in the river, even though temps are dropping, and I have had no problems with the vest going in and out of the water. Just hang it to dry after going out and it is ready for the next adventure in the field.

I would never buy this product or recommend it to anyone. One size fits all is a lie.

Bought this vest during the summer. Fitted it to my American Lab, 90lbs, everything fit great. Materials were all nice and thick. Dog is trained to stay still, so wasn't a problem getting it adjusted to fit him. Took it off and put it away since it was hot outside. Now, it is November and cold, so I thought I would get hom swimming in the vest before duck season. Went to put it on him, still fit snug, but not too tight. I put the zipper on the track, started pulling, and Crack, zipper fell apart in my hand. I was barely pulling on it. Plastic zipper is junk! The rest of the vest is great, but that doesn't matter if you can't zip it up!

It's not as easy to fit as they say but still fits better than other vests, with my Chessie the velcro gets hair in it. The panels don't seem to fit the D ring that well but not a showstopper with my dog that doesn't break and need to be tethered. My dog hag a very big neck and chest and trim waist like body builder, other vest are too tight in the neck and chest and too big in the gut.

Product very difficult to assemble and use.

It takes a moment to put everything together, and then to make the final adjustments to fit your dog. What you get though is a perfectly fitting vest. It's easy enough to change the size as your dog grows too. Our standard poodle is 8 months old and still growing, so getting a vest that can fit him as he grows was important. The interchangeable panels are a bonus so we can change between waterfowl and upland hunting.

The vest is well-made and does fit my 62 pound lab. I found the Velcro to be super sticky and difficult to disassemble, Botha vest and the camo panels. The instruction video makes it look easy – I didn't find it so. Looking forward to using it when my dog retrieves birds this fall and winter.

I bought this for my 9 month old lab. The design really allows for a custom fit. Just keep altering the fit and you will see how well this vest fits. I've adjusted it about 13 times already and although that process is tedious, it's well worth it. I also like the back handle and D link. The thickness of the panels is impressive and I'm looking forward to bringing her out in the upcoming months.

It definitely kept my dog warmer, and it is exceptionally sturdy. The 'but' come with the difficulty in assembly and adjustment. The various parts are held together with Velcro pads some of which are very large. This is the reason it is sturdy. It is also the reason that it is somewhat difficult to assemble and adjust. Thus is especially true if you decide to adjust it after the camouflage or hunter orange pads are installed. You will swear a blue streak getting them off, and the vest can't be adjusted until you do so.

With the construction and adjustments on this vest, the fit is perfect. If you own a versatile hunting dog this is the vest you want to buy.
