Excellent bumpers for great price!!!

These bumpers are smaller in diameter than a lot of my bumpers I train with but training waterfowl retrievers many different sizes of bumpers are needed so no problem there. I was skeptical when they first arrived because the material they are made out of is not quite as thick as a per se Lucky Dog bumpers. I was extremely amazed at how far you can hand throw these bumpers. Plenty of distance. These bumpers are perfect to use anywhere from training a puppy to a full grown dog.

I have bought all kinds of Dummies for our dogs and despite being among the least expensive, these are of no less quality than the expensive ones. In fact, they come with a rope, float, are flexible and a lot of fun in the pool, in the field for training and in the ocean! Our labs love them and I'll never buy the other brands again.
Pros
- Float, flexible, durable and last a long time. The black/white can be seen from a distance and are easily found in the thick. They don't have an air valve to increase/decrease air pressure. This is a good thing as the valve often gets ripped off quickly and will fill with water.
Cons
- I can't think of any Cons at this time. I've been buying these for 2 energetic and competitive Labs. They destroy every other toy in minutes. Not these!

Finally. A simple product, well-designed and functional. I was confused as to why a piece of plastic with a cord attached would cost up to $16 on Amazon so I go to the trusted Gun Dog Supply. I've purchased many things over the many years they have been in business. Their items are curated and tested. They are what they say they are - a good quality bumper to train your dog. It took a little longer than Amazon but, hey, it's a bumper. And you know what, these are great bumpers- perfectly weighted, ONG enough cord, not too hard, not to soft.

Good quality but a little softer than some others I've had. One of my GSP's likes to chew during retrieves and these seem to flatten more easily and hiss when wet, both which seem to make him want to chew more.

These training bumpers are solidly built and hold up to extended usage. This is the second dozen I've purchased, and I use the different colors for different purposes; I now have eight of each color, and I may purchase another dozen at some point.
Pros
- These bumpers are very sturdy, of heavy plastic and with substantial cords. The proportion of bumper weight and cord length makes it relatively easy to throw the bumpers a good distance with an a significant arc so the dogs can more easily see the trajectory and fall.

Can't beat the price and quality

The 12 pack of multi-color bumpers I received from Gun Dog Supply was above and beyond what I expected as far as the quality of the material and the sharpness of the colors. The bumpers were shipped to me very quickly as well. Each of my dogs can have a different color bumper for training and that's why I chose the tri color option. GDS always exceeds expectations when I order from them. I am a repeat customer and I will continue to be!

They are quite thin and easily crushed and ripped. Now to be fair my dog is a German Shepherd and probably has a stronger bite than a Lab, but they last about a half hour of retrieving.
