The only bad thing I can say about these collars is that you have to check the prongs fairly often to make sure they aren't working loose. These collars work excellent, and the containment system is one of the best investments we've made.

I just wish I had bought it months ago! It works great for keeping our dogs in the yard.

The collar that I purchased is doing well so far. However, I have had trouble in the past with the collars dying every few months. I appreciate you writing, because when I contacted PetSafe some time ago, the person on the phone was not friendly and did not seemed concerned that the collars were failing after such a relatively short time.

I have some issues with areas in my house that activate the beep while the dogs are still well with in the boundary. I've contacted customer service several times , but they have not been able to help me. I've tried moving the base and resetting the collars several times to no avail. I've used the system for about 10 years now and still would highly recommend it. I would like to try the rechargeable batteries, but can not afford it at this time.

Thing is awesome. Dogs learned quickly (the pitbull is a dumb dog, lovable, but dumb) - they know the difference with collar on and off - and know when they can cross the line. Works on 12 volts, and we've taken it to the cabin and run it off the car. definitely a great product.
