Red RRT Cordura Launcher Dummy with Streamers

This is my first dummy with streamers. So far it seems to help with marking.

Shipped promptly and works well.

Looks like it will do the job. Got the one with a streamer to help out a newly trained puppy.

It makes a good long mark for my 6 month old pup. He can follow the ark of flight and then retrieve.

I have four springers, three adults and a pup. I shoot dummies for them three or four times a week into heavy cover of all kinds and over water. They get dozens of challenging retrieves a week. I usually use the long distance plastic dummies, but for the pup the streamer dummy is perfect for introducing him to tracking objects through the air. Besides making the canvas dummy far more visible, the streamers slow the velocity of the dummy and shorten the distances traveled, making a successful mark and find far more likely, so important with young dogs and short attention spans. An added bonus is that a pup can easily grab the streamers whereas the dummy itself might be too big for his jaws. My pup loves running back flipping and flinging the dummy by it's tails, creating excitement and enthusiasm in him. Mine are used and abused and hold up well even when pup sneaks off and uses them as a chew toy. When they are brown with dirt and mud I throw them in the washing machine could Ming out almost as good as new. A great product.

The dummy with streamers greatly improves visibility on 250-300 yard marks, and I believe has increased my pup's confidence. She earned her AKC Junior Hunt Test Title at 8 1/2 months of age.

It only travels about 30 percent as far as the canvas dummies without streamers.

They have held up well so far to both land and water marks.

First one not so good. Steve got it replaced. Got a summer out of the flags. Dummy still working. Lots of launches. So the flags didn't last forever. But a good 5 months of training. I think the streamers helped. My dog is 3 years old now, just bought another just to keep her tuned up! She loves them!

Excellent quality. Slightly lighter weight than some of the other launcher dummies I have, so it does not launch quite as far.

I really like these because the dogs, I find, mark better. They are light and launch a pretty good distance. I use them on land, because I find after a while in water, they begin to come apart. Perhaps allowing them to dry before reusing would help. Excellent product to use in training. Highly recommend them.

Zip-tied several wings to it. They slowed it down some, but it works as expected.

Has held up nicely, although I've only been using it now for about a month. Really like the streamers as an aid in mark ability. Just enough weight to push through a moderate wind.

Excellent dummy especially for the money. The black and white is my go-to for marking in almost all my applications from 6 month old puppies to 3 year old veterans.

These things need major improvement! The streamer pops off with the first shot and a few shots later the top pops off the whole thing rendering it next to useless. I have recieved replacements on top of replacements and none of them hold up to more than 3-4 shots :(

So far so good. Seems to be holding up well. My lab seems to like the flagged dummies. They fall more like a bird, I suppose. I'll be ordering a few more of these in the future.
