This works great to keep your handheld readily accessible but out of the way. I pair it with a retractable cable tether for a "belt and suspenders" approach. I've had a couple brake when pushing through the alder thickets or I'd give it 5 stars.

Works well but not too long ( 6 months) after buying pevious swivel clip the teeth wore down. I bought 2 this time due to the additional shipping costs. works well,could be more sturdy.

Before purchasing this clip for my Garmin Sports Pro transmitter, I had only a lanyard which meant it would either swing free around my neck or I would tuck it inside of a shirt or jacket. With the clip I can secure it to the front of a vest strap where it is secure and readily available for use.

Overall I like handy use and convivence of having the Garmin Sport Pro on your belt or pants at hip height and to know it will not come off. It is also easy to press the buttons without looking at the front once you have the control panel down pat. With the swivel it stays out of your way when you have to do things.

Cons

getting the controller on the clip and moving the clip up to be able to charge the controller because the connect is so tight

I like that the clip is custom fit onto the existing back of the Garmin, without removing any other parts. I read how the original clips that some customers had have broken, and this is an exact replacement. That was a heads up to me that you might want to use a secondary/backup attachment point in case the post breaks. So I use the retractable lanyard, paired with this as a neat setup.
