Pretty good so far.

Loudest of all the beeper collars I have (7). Had to cut some excess off the colar end. Wish it went to constant single beep instead of staying with double beep when dog is pointing but its louder than any other beeper collar I own. Running them on 2 German Shorthaired Pointers. Pretty durable so far.

Could Not Hear

I could hear the beeper but could not tell from what direction the beep was coming from. Did not seem as loud as I had expected. The Tri-Tronics beeper seemed louder to me but as with the DT collar can not tell the direction of the beep. Thankfully I have the Alpha 100 to see what direction my dog is in.

I purchased the DT Systems beeper to replace a Sonic Pro I had for many years. The Sonic Pro worked well for me so I was a little apprehensive as to what to get as a replacement. I decided on the DT Systems and have to say that after getting used to it I like it better than the Sonic Pro. I like not having to replace batteries and not needing a magnet to activate the collar. I am considering getting a second one to replace the one I currently use on my youngest Brit. but I just spent $1500 on new skis and ski boots so I neeed a little time to let my finances recover.
