Mendota 13 in. Leather Couple -- 2-dog

So, we were not sure how our dogs would respond to this (5yr old GSP and 9 month old Weimaraner) but they walk so great on the coupler it is amazing. Hold it a little high, so the swivels can do their job and there are very few tangles during our walks. Very high quality item. Love that is is Made in the USA. It is hard to beat a classic leather bit of harness.

We bought this to assist in training our year old Lab and Ridgeback puppy. There was very little acclimation needed and the coupler is working great. Was a bit concerned with the current size mismatch between the dogs being an issue....they figured it out quickly.

Purchased this so I could run with both dogs and only use one leash. It works perfect, the length is the perfect distance, it allows the dogs (English Pointers) enough space between them to run comfortable without crashing into each other. Highly recommend it. The quality is above average, which is normal for anything from gun dog supply.

I recently purchased my first Mendota 13 in. Leather Coupler from Gun Dog Supply. I had a difficult time deciding on the length of coupler due to having no experience using one. After reading some reviews and playing around with a tape measure, I selected the 13 in. length. I have two female Deutsch Drahthaars. For size reference, my 3 year old is 58 lbs. and 9 month old puppy is 50 lbs. The 13 in. coupler is the perfect length for walking both dogs on a single lead. Easy to use, great quality and my dogs walked perfectly the first time I used it. I was able to make individual corrections to each dog by changing the angle of my lead when a correction was needed. Wouldn't live without one after using one, way betting than using 2 separate leads!

I take my two griffs to run every morning, and had previously used a shorter nylon couple. This one is much better and the right length, also the right blend of stiff and supple. The dogs hardly ever get tangled.

As usual, the quality of this product is second to none. Really handy when you only have one free hand for leading two dogs.

Great product! Got it for when I'm walking out to the beach, or anytime I'm carrying a bunch of stuff, so I only have one leash in my hands and not two. The dogs are pretty different heights, and it's long enough to compensate well.

Not just for hunting dogs!! Absolutely perfect for walking 2 (rather large) dogs around the neighborhood. Very strong, durable leather unlike the flimsy tethers that you find in the pet superstores.
