COLLAR SIZING MADE EASY

These are NECK SIZE COLLARS which means the dog's measured neck size IS the collar size.

Measure Your Dog's Neck to ensure a proper fit.

Use a measuring tape, cloth tape, or a piece of string (and measure the string).
Measure your dog's neck where you want the collar to rest on the neck AND at the appropriate tightness.
Once you have a measurement, refer to the Guide below to find the appropriate size.
The neck size (NS) represents the measurement from the center of the buckle to the fourth adjustment hole.
You can adjust 1-inch longer or 3-inches shorter. Keep in mind that using the shorter adjustment holes will leave more collar strap extending past the buckle.

I love the look and the feel of leather. This sturdy leather collar will last for ever and looks great on my Brittany. The 3/4" width is the perfect size. The leather is thick and stiff but with hand kneading, the leather softens and fits nicely around my dog's neck, no oil is needed (oil will change the color of the leather). The engraved FREE Brass ID Name Plate fits securely on the collar and has plenty of room for all the needed information about my dog and I don't have to worry about it getting snagged on objects. Finally you will not find a better collar for the price anywhere and it is made in the USA.

This is a very nice collar. The price was amazing for a real leather collar. But my dog is small and the collar is just too heavy for her. We went with the narrow one, but the thickness is what makes it heavy. We weren't expecting it to be so thick.

This is one substantial collar. The leather is thick and hardware is substantial. The brass nameplate looks nice and classy. I will say it's a bit heavy/bulky for my smaller dogs, they are 17 lb Feist mixes. (The area near the buckle is multiple layers and is pretty thick) I do slip it on when we go for our morning walks as I feel it will protect their neck if a random large dog should attack them. I'm hoping it will soften up in time. I don't think you can find a collar this nice at this price point. Highly recommended.
