This is a nice cord to use at tests and trails. It fits easily in your pocket, easy to stow before you leave the holding blind. It won't take up much room in your hunting bag either. The diameter of the material gets your dog's attention too.

collar works as I have planned to use it. only reason for 4 stars, the lead is not as flexible as I thought it would be. It is stiff, somewhat rigid. I make a figure 8 and place on muzzle. Worked better than pinch collar. Wish it was more pliable.

Much better than the more common rope style slip leads. Releases all pressure when the dog is heeling correctly.

Love the length of these leads, they're great for hunt test handlers and their dogs. We keep several on hand here at the kennel to get dogs to and from owner's vehicles as well.

I have this lead in many sizes because it's the best lead I have found. It slides nice fits all dogs and has a great construction very durable!

The BioThane Slip Lead is a great product. My 6 month old lab is much more easily controlled and is learning the 'heel' command nicely. So much easier to use than a choke collar. Gun Dog Supply is also a great company to work with; they got the product out in great time.

Love this lead. The material it is made of is much easier on the hands than a traditional fabric type of leash. This in itself makes teaching a dog to heel or not pull way less frustrating. I had been using martingale collars on both out boys, and heel work was going okay, but not great. This lead has really helped them to be more aware of pressure on / pressure off and therefore more responsive. I also love that it is a short lead. I always had to wrap the regular leash around my hand to shorten it for heel work, which would eventually lead to it getting tighter and tighter on my hand. If you are having trouble with your dog pulling or just want to tighten up your dogs heel work, this is the ticket!

This is the perfect length for HRC hunt tests when you need to be able to place in your pocket before the course of fire.

Perfect safety and training product when you want your dog close. Quick on/off with dog in complete control of slip. My dog has HATED a leash more than any dog I've ever known. She heels beautifully without but even at 1.5 years really objects to being put on leash. This can be an issue when traveling, going to vet, or in a new area with busy roads. Problem solved with this leash. It sits loose and light way down around her shoulders until she pulls. Perfect for a dog that already heels nicely or one that you are trying to train to stay very close. I love it and she loves it...a win/win!

These work great for short distances. Not heavy, just right and still have control.

Very impressed with this one. The handle allows great control and the large slide loop slides easily unlike rope leads that tend to bind when pressure is applied. I have half a dozen of these and will buy more.

This leash is perfect for walking a dog you are training or have trained. Perfect for walking to the line as well.
