Avery DriStor Vacationer 40 lb. Dog Food Bag

For the last 10 years we've had the skinnier version of this bag and it worked really well but finally wore out. The thing we didn't like was having to reach down into that skinny bag and get dog food all over your arm. This bag is perfect because it has a larger opening. Also the pocket on the side is very helpful. Highly recommend this item. Hopefully we get another 10+ years out of this one!

I needed something more practical than my big plastic food vaults. I took this bag to South Dakota for my 2 English pointers and it held plenty of Purina Pro plan dry food for a 9 day trip with room to spare. My dogs are about 50lbs. each and they eat 4 cups of food per evening. The bag is a Velcro closure that you roll down multiple times and buckle clip closed. There is a nice carrying strap that makes 40lbs. of dog food not feel like it. I normally buy the XL Pro Plan purple bag I think it's 55lbs. I fit about 3/4 of that bag into the Avery Dri-Stor, like I said with more room to spare. There's a pouch in the front to store random stuff too if needed.This bag also saved packing room in the car as I could toss the dog bowls and serving cup in there with the food and stored it in the truck standing up. When in the hotel room the bag holds its shape and stands up even without food in it.

I do a lot of 3 day weekends, and it's nice to have a durable, packable carry for the food. The handles and strap are really nice for hauling into motel rooms w/a full armload of gear.

Fits my need very well. We travel a few times a year to run swampers, and this travel bag works great.

Love this storage container. The fabric this is made from is sturdy and the inside is moisture proof, keeping the dog food fresh. I prefer this rather than the hard plastic containers for traveling because it takes up less room and as your trip goes on the top can be rolled down, minimizing its size.I also like to support a family owned business.

Worked great. I placed 105 cups of food in bag and still had room. Took it on a two week trip with 2 labs and still had room for more. So much better than a paper dog food bad or a plastic bin. Very good quality.
