    I had purchased this for our 13 year old Airedale, Lucy, to comfort her arthritic hips but it was too firm and stiff for her. She had issues in standing up, not enough "give" in the bed as she has been use to with other beds; HOWEVER, I put it in our German Shorthair Pointer's crate and Della LOVES it!!!! She feels special!!
    Perhaps a 3" foam bed would be better for our Lucy.

    The Bizzy bed is very nice quality and reasonably priced.

    Have used a lot of Mud River crate beds in the past and the Bizy Beds are excellent too. Will give them a good workout come bird season and many travels to the lands of quail-chukar- and
    pheasant. We (the dogs and I) drive to Utah-Texas-Dakotas-Virginia-North Carolina-and here in Arizona too.
    Good quality-well made and look to be able to take the abuse the dogs give them. None so far

    This item replaced a similar bed purchased at a regional big box farm/garden store at a similar price point. The retired item had collapsed to the point that it offered no cushion and support, even though my lab is a lightweight at 65#. This one appears to be of superior quality, and should last indefinitely. I wrapped it in a cotton cover topped by a thin, soft pad. My boy loves it!!
    Bulletproof outer cover, dense foam cushion. Fits crate perfectly. The corduroy nylon shell is tough, but lacks the appeal of a softer cover.

    Materials seems tough, bed is thick, its noisy like a scratchy sound when dogs are getting on and off it, doesn't bother me though, I also got the extra cover so I can swap it out while the other is washing.

    Very pleased overall. It fit perfectly in the dog kennel. Our dog likes to chew up the fluffy beds but has not with the biskit bed.
