The 3500 is the top of the line of the Dogtra Collars. The 3500 allows you to change the power level of the system from "Mild" to "Regular" at the transmitter while the system is on the dog. This feature gives you a wide range of stimulation choices so you can use it on the most sensitive dogs AND the most hard headed.
Dogtra remote training collars are as well made and dependable as any collar on the market today.
The collar works as advertised. No problems with consistent stimulation, and it seems to have a very durable construction. No major complaints. I only have a couple of minor issues. 1) It comes with only one set of prongs, which seem to be a bit longer than what I'd prefer. I wish it came with the shorter prongs as well, but those cost an extra ten dollars. 2) The receiver is a fair bit bigger than the 1900 receiver. I was hoping it'd be a bit smaller. 3) When hunting in single digit temps, the transmitter display sometimes jump to '0'. When I try to adjust the intensity. It then jumps back to the correct stimulation level. Not a big deal, and I'm sure it's difficult for the digital readout to function in the cold. Maybe it's trying to tell me I shouldn't be out in those temps! Either way, it doesn't actually affect the functionality of the unity.

"Have not used in training yet, but tried it out on myself, and love all the levels, so would say it will be a very good collar. "
