    How to Match Collars to Your Pathfinder System



    1. Start with the collar turned off.



    2. On the GPS connector, press the top button to turn the connector on.



    3. Original Pathfinder Only: Press the Select button again to set it to Collar mode. (Setting the GPS connector to Phone mode will pair the connector to a smartphone.)



    4a. Pathfinder 2 Only: Hold down the Connect GPS Receiver button until the LED blinks rapidly



    4b. Original Pathfinder Only: Hold down the Connect button until the LED blinks rapidly


    5. Release the button.



    6. Hold down the on/off button on the receiver until the LED light begins to rapidly blink green and plays a melody to indicate the GPS receiver is in pairing mode.

    7. Once paired, the receiver will emit three beeps to show it has coded.

    A Great GPS System for Your Working Dogs

    Dogtra's new pathfinder2 platform is excellent! The customer support is amazing, just call in and ask for Nick and you will be blown away with the service you can get to customize the unit for your training needs. The product is extremely flexible. I train in very rugged terrain at altitude near cell tower installations and was able to change the configuration of the receiver and transmitter to avoid the interference with the cell tower easily. The app is super simple but yet gives you all the information you need for your training logs and real time analysis of the K9's performance. It's the complete package.
    Pros
    • App interface is great, no additional device is needed to keep charge and weigh you down in the field. You already carry your phone with you.
    • Works in extreme environments
    • Durable construction
    Cons
    • I'd like to see a 1" bungee collar upgrade, the bungee option can get snagged on the rough brush and terrain.
    • I'd like to have a rheostat on the controller to control the stimulation level vs, adjusting through the mobile app. While I'm wishing, I'd like to see a two dog, minimum option for stimulation on the controller vs. the app.
