    • Sizing:

    NOTE: Measuring your dog is the most accurate way to determine the proper harness size. If your dog is between two sizes, choose the smaller.

  • Small -- fits dogs approx. 20-30 lbs.
      Girth Measurement: 21-27"
  • Medium -- fits dogs approx. 25-50 lbs.
      Girth Measurement: 26-32"
  • Large -- fits dogs approx. 65-80 lbs.
      Girth Measurement: 29-43"


    • Measuring Instructions:

    Girth Measurement -- wrap measuring tape around the deepest part of the dog's rib cage behind the front legs.


    Fitting Instructions:

    1. Open quick-release buckles on the girth straps and slide harness over dog's head.


    2. Adjust neck straps for proper fit. No more than two fingers should fit between the dog and the harness.


    3. Girth can be removed from harness for even adjustment. Once adjusted, slide girth strap back into the harness.


    4. Snap quick-release buckles, attach leash and go for a walk.

    I ordered this harness based on the price, quality, and my dogs need. My 75# lab seems to like wearing it and it relieves the stress on his neck of simply hooking a leash to his regular collar.
    Pros
    • Fits well, has a nice handle on the back for holding the dog steady, good price
    Cons
    • The harness has some reflective trim and I plan to use this on the dog while bird hunting. Should not be an issue for upland birds but would rather not have that feature for waterfowl hunting. But safer for the dog in the dark.

    This harness is first-rate. It is lightweight but sturdy and easy to apply, remove, and store when not in use. Our dog loves it, and it makes us feel more secure when walking or traveling with her. If you are on the borderline between two sizes, choose the larger size. It is easily adjusted. We are very pleased to have made this choice.

    This harness seems to be quality, I love the reflective stripes and it is easy to use. My dog was concerned at first about it going over his head, but now he knows his "jersey" means fun things are about to happen.
    Pros
    • Sturdy construction, solid latches. It seems to be impossible for a dog to get out of this harness.
    Cons
    • My only gripe is that there is not enough adjustment possible through the shoulders. My dog is 35 pounds, and the medium size is made for dogs 25 to 50 pounds (I think that's the top weight). Apparently, my dog is very narrow chested, as it is very loose on him. However, he cannot get out of it, and that is the primary concern.
