About Rick Stawski:

Stawski began his professional dog training career in 1990 with Wayne Curtis of Fox Hollow Kennels. In 1992, he established Fine Line Retrievers, a state-of-the-art dog training facility located in Milaca, Minnesota. Years of working as a professional trainer allowed him to develop an extremely efficient and effective training program. Most of the video is spent with him working dogs in the same field. No significant water training shown.

  • Relatively inexpensive.

  • Most of the video is repetitive and fairly boring, and certainly not recent.

These DVDs have by far exceeded my expectations. The first week of doing exactly what he instructed my dog was doing face to heel and I was extremely pleased. He's very easy to follow and gives a rough timeline as to how long each session should last. I would highly recommend these to anyone. Follow him step by step and in no time you'll see results.

I like that he shows some good problems with the dogs, but I don't like his methods or his order as much as Chris Akins.
