Garmin Tri-Tronics Sport PRO Replacement Transmitter Only

We have been using the Garmin Tri-Tronics collar for 5 years with our male Vizsla. It allows all of us to have much more independence at the park and on trails. He obeys the tone and the vibration and we would only use the shock on very rare occasions. I cannot say enough about this product. We have a large property where he will roam around and when we need to call him back I just press the tone once and he comes running. What would we do without this? (Don't lose the controller like I did. It was a very expensive mistake)

There are numerous areas of training for our dogs to fit into our human world. Some of these things are solely for the benefit of ease and benefit of our selves rather than them. The Tritronic's Training Collar can however send a page or notification to your dog to call them back from a busy street and dangerous traffic, where otherwise they would not have been able to hear your commands.And everyone knows just how beneficial good manners are and the pride we feel in our canine companion as they master these goals with the assistance of these truly superb collars.I am extremely grateful as a disabled person who would be unable to run after my dog if needed. The collar has protected her from being attacked by two strays as I was able to page her back to me and keep her safe.So from the initial time of crate training up to the crate of motherhood we are true believers in this system.

I ve used one for 3 years on the same 3 dogs mostly for the vibrate and audible tone. When they were young they felt the stimulation and I probably haven't had the need to use it in a couple of years. The dogs chewed up the first one so I needed a new one and I'm trying to be better about leaving it laying around.

my original controller was left in my pants pocket and only partially survived the washer. It would only hold a charge for a couple hours after that. Tried just the replacement battery but that did not work. Same issue. So, ordered this replacement controller and it worked as it should. Easy directions to follow to sync it to my original collar. haven't had an issue since. Works as you would hope a replacement would.

Much simpler to use than the old style one it replaced.

The folks at GunDog Supply were very helpful in ensuring that I purchased the correct replacement for my lost Delta transmitter. They also talked me through pairing the new transmitter to my existing collar. The new transmitter is great! Very easy and intuitive to use. I also like that it is smaller than my old transmitter. The right size for hunting and functions are easy to use

Lost the first transmitter over poor decision making on my part (left it on the bumper of my truck). Searched for days to no avail. Ordered the new replacement transmitter and my wife programmed it within minutes. Bada bing, bada boom! Great training system. It's a gotta have.

I give this remote a 5 stars. I only surprise was when I bought the replacement it did not come with a lanyard?? The original one was a thin string.Maybe its for the best.When walking in the woods I lost it fighting through the brush. This replacement one I put it on my belt loop and in my front pocket. I reach in flip the toggle switch on and hope the dial didn't move. A few times my dog let me know the dial was turned up. LOL I need a better lanyard.If you have a wider one Id like to see it.. Other than that if I dont lose it its a great remote

Great control. User friendly. I have 3 dogs on one remote and it is very easy to switch quickly between them using this remote. It is also compatible with smaller collars which i love! Love the light feature as well!

Funny thing about dogs, in this case our 9 month old Pudelpointer Gretta. Turns out one shouldn't leave the room with the controller in reach. Was gone 15 minutes and the little minx took it off the desk and proceeded to taste test it!All in all, though, basic obedience training is going well. Give it three barks!

Nice to have a unit that works in the field as well as bark training. The controller is easy to use.

Gundog was all over my need for another Garmin Transmitter; not only did they get it here ASAP, but they add their lanyard- so I would not lose it again

This is a versatile transmitter and does everything as advertised.I always double up the holster with a lanyard, but forgot one time and while grouse hunting in Northern Mi I lost my transmitter. Lesson learned...double up the security of your transmitter.

I originally purchased the Garmin Sport PRO in 2018 to help with training my bullmastiff. Since then I've also used it to train two OEBs to recall. It's a fantastic, can't-live-without-it training tool, particularly for a large, heavy dog - it's so much more gentle than a choke collar, which can damage the trachea. My bulldogs are so sensitive, I never set it above 4. I highly recommend trying it out on your palm beforehand.

This is the the 3rd transmitter I've had. The original one was no fault to the transmitter. It fell off my son's neck from the flimsy lanyard breaking into a small ditch. I ran over it with the mower while he was looking for it elsewhere, my bad. So no big deal bought another one with the collar, I needed an extra anyways. Put an old garmin lanyard on it, problem solved. It lasted about 14 months which is 2 months out of warranty, I bought a replacement battery thinking it was just a battery because this is used EVERY DAY. Nope. Got this transmitter paired it with my collars works as intended. Will it last, probably till the warranty runs out. It's a shame I have always had good luck with garmin. Possibly will sell the transmitter, extra battery and 2 collars and cut my losses. May try the competitors brand and see if it will actually last for my intended purposes. Which is for the dog ONLY to wear around the house. Not in the woods. Long story short works well only lasted little over a year.

We had to buy a new transmitter after ours went missing. I was pleasantly surprised to find out Gun Dog offered just the handle. It paired quickly with my dogs collar and works great!

Using this Control is easy and simple. I am able to operate without looking or viewing the control when I need to activate lights, tone or stimulation. This is simple enough for my wife to operate with confidence she sees and understands it is not hurting the dog. The control of light is great for early morning or late evening release for potty time.

We use our collars to allow our hounds freedom on our daily hikes. When we realized we lost our controller, we immediately ordered up a new one. Connecting to our existing collars was easy and we were back on the trail. Of course, two days after getting the new controller, a neighbor found our old one and returned to us so now we have an extra!

I received my product about 4 days after ordering and it's my favorite product for my dog! Much more behaved now!

Every single one of our retrievers has this shock collar and remote combo and they work phenomenally!! I love the tone feature and vibrate feature you can use before the actual shock. Such a great product! Every dog we own and will ever own will always have this product and the company is so friendly and easy to deal with! I love how personable they are when you call them or email a question!!

After losing my original transmitter out hunting, I was happy to be able order a replacement and have it so easily get connected.

Excellent product. This was a replacement for a lost controller.

The Garmin works well with our Yellow Lab. She responds when hearing the tone and we only have to use the vibrate when she is deep in sniffing and ignoring the world, which is not often.

I have two pits that are totally different animals when this transmitter is used with their respective collars. Most of the time they are responsive to voice commands when where collars but for the rare instance they don't obey just using the beep feature is all it usually takes. If there mine is totally off track the next step is a vibration this is basically a warning and harmless. One of the dogs was a rescue who apparently was brought up to fight. She was worked by a trainer who had worked with the dog whisperer, he suggested these devices as we were trying to get the dog to stop attacking cats. That's where the 3rd feature of the device comes in. If she sees a small animal. This gives a shock, I never go past a three while the settings go to 10. If she does not respond to the beep or buzz this will stop her in her tracks and she will stop acting aggressively. Totally humane I have used it myself and like I said the dogs learn very fast and behave very well when wearing the collars without even using the transmitter.
