Measure Your Dog's Neck to ensure a proper fit.

• Use a measuring tape, cloth tape, or a piece of string (and measure the string).
  
• Measure your dog's neck where you want the collar to rest on the neck AND at the appropriate tightness.
  
• Once you have a measurement, refer to the Guide below to find the appropriate size.
  
• The neck size (NS) represents the measurement from the center of the buckle to the fourth adjustment hole.
  
• You can adjust 1-inch longer or 3-inches shorter. Keep in mind that using the shorter adjustment holes will leave more collar strap extending past the buckle.

Great heavy-duty collar

We have a new German shorthair that's a little more than a year old. With our last shorthair, we had gotten a nice customized heavy duty gun dog collar with ring from Cabelas. Well I went to look for one for this new dog and I couldn't find that type any more. Several sites had similar collars without the ring, but Snell's was the only one with the customizable plate and the ring. This one is biothane which I like better than the older plastic covered nylon Cabelas one. Heavy duty ring, buckle, and rivets. Seems like a lifetime collar. Also, USPS lost the first collar and Snell's Gun Dog Supply sent out a second one immediately. Great customer service thanks!

Quality dog collars

I have bought multipl Big dog, 1 inch center ring dog collars from garden dog supply for my German shorthair. The only reason I have bought so many is because my dog outgrows them not because I've ever had an issue with one. They are high quality collars, and I normally buy orange for hunting, but I tried out the royal blue one for when we are traveling and on vacation. It looks very good on him. They have fast shipping and great customer service at gun dog supply. I want to thank Steve and everyone from gun dog supplies for a quality products, and awesome customer service. Keep up the great work!!

I can't say enough about these collars. They are extremely durable. My lab loves to swim and canoe with us and this thing holds up and does not end up getting nasty.

Best collars for active dogs!

We have been using these collars for years. Our previous pair of dogs went running, mountain biking, hiking and would always lose the name tag that was hanging on the collar ring. We just lost one of those two sadly and her collar is still in great shape with the name tag still perfect and solidly on the collar which hangs by our fire place in her memory. We order another for our new rescue and got a new one for our current dog (not because the collar had worn down just needed a bigger size). I highly recommend this product. BONUS- They are very easy to clean!!!!

I've always hated buying collars from these big stores due to the price you pay your not getting the quality you want . I live out in the country so I want a sturdy, dependable, bright orange collar that will last longer than a month . Great Stink and Frill Free Collar

Our Labradors last collar started to smell pretty gnarly after some ocean and rain time and even after washes, couldn't get it out. So I decided it was time for a new one for our girl, was already planning on ordering a new tag and this collar allowed me to knock out two birds with one shot (yes, that is a hunting pun). She loves the collar though, it is a little large on her (my fault) and we all like how bright the pink is especially at night. Overall a great purchase and great value.

I've been a happy, satisfied Gun Dog Supply collar customer for my last couple of labs. This collar is flexible, which I suspect is comfortable for my dog. Having an O ring as well as a D ring fits our active lifestyle, as we run daily and hike frequently as well. The name plate with essential information is an added bonus. My dog gets wet at every opportunity and this collar is perfect for that kind of dog.High quality product.

Decent hunting collar

I love my Biothane Big Dawg Collar. We got a new cattle dog and don't usually use collars, but being a youngster, we needed one. The poor quality available at Pet Stores was disappointing, so ordered from Gun Dawg! Even with the custom ID plate, it arrived very quickly. So easy to clean and the quality is to notch. Thank you! I like the collar. The support at GDS was excellent! Bar none, what I had a problem with was the time of delivery, and don't know if that was bc of Christmas or just slow on their part. Bc I had ordered something else after the collar and that got here 2 weeks before the collar. So, all in all, satisfied with the company and product will order again if need be. Oh yah almost forgot I also asked for discreet shipping bc the dog stand was for Christmas and well it wasn't and almost ruined the gift as my boy was almost handed it by the UPS carrier. Anyways thanks again.

Great Looking and Durable Collar

I ordered this collar for my Golden Retriever and it not only looks great on her but it is very well made. I ordered a leather collar for my male Brittany a few years ago and his collar is still in amazing shape, so I came back to Gun Dog Supply for another collar and chose Biothane this time because my Golden is a female and I wanted a pretty color for her. I believe both collars will last their lifetime and when our French Brittany needs a new collar I know where I will be coming for him.
