Great collar for the summer when we're jumping in and out of lakes and rivers all the time. Material is soft but strong, doesn't stay wet, pretty color, fits comfortably, and I love the name plate on the collar.

Great collar and perfect size for my growing Vizsla puppy. I appreciate the 3/4' width option as 1/2' is too narrow and 1' would be too thick. I opted to forgo the name plate as I didn't want to add weight to the collar and I didn't love that the metals didn't match. Overall great quality, price, and customer service. 5/5 for sure!!!

I've been buying from Gun Dog Supply for at least 15 years. I'm on my 4th dog who wears the same collar as my first. Top notch quality. I won't ever buy a different collar. Can't forget that the price is amazing as well. I don't think they've gone up much since the first one I bought.

I got these for all 7 of my dogs- even the tiny ones. This one is for a 19 year old chihuahua! I love that I had room even on this tiny collar for an extra line to put this dog's medical condition- he is epileptic and I don't want someone to see him seize if he did get somehow lost and think he was suffering and shoot him. Like all of these collars this one is high quality, sturdy and beautiful, and looks great on my dog. I have told all my multi-dog household friends about them too. I cannot think of a better collar for a daily wear collar. I was excited to find that these ran small enough for my itty bitty dogs and they work well for them!

I got these collars for all 7 of my dogs. This one was for one of my tiny chihuahuas- the color is gorgeous on her, she is black and tan. The only complaint I can even come up with is I would love purple in the small size as that's the color I usually put on her. I love this color too, though :) As with all of these collars they are wonderful, high quality, non stinky, which is super important living on a farm, and easy to clean. My dogs look great in them.

These collars are so good I bought them for all 7 of my dogs, including the tiny chihuahuas! This shade of blue is just gorgeous and looks great on the black coat of the dog who I bought it for. I love the quality of these and the ease of cleaning as I live on a farm and funk is a thing. They are perfect every day wear collars to stand up to all the abuse of active dogs (yes, even the little ones are highly active).

All of my dogs have only worn one adult collar their whole lives, the heavy leather collar with the O ring at the top. They're great working dog collars.I ordered the Biothane collar and the leash set to get my puppy through the pulling/early training stages. The nylon puppy collars just weren't cutting it. The collar and leash are sturdy, but not too stiff.I messed up when I first ordered and got the neck size wrong. The return policy was great, and I had my new collar within 10 days.Thanks.

I've been using Gun Dog Supply collars for my dogs for years, so. I was excited to find the little Dawg size for my newest pup. I ordered a larger length than I normally would so it could grow with him, and I'm glad I did because we're already on the next notch. It fits him perfect and the olive color looks great on his chocolate coat. I love these collars because they're sturdy and easy to clean (and don't smell after getting wet!), and they look great too.

Essential for active dogs!

Decided to take a chance on a Biothane collar for our new rescue dog and I'm so glad we did! I wanted a collar for when we are at our "Rivah" house: it would need to be able to withstand swims in the river, rolling in the sand, and romping in the field with friends, all while looking great and easily displaying our different address and phone number. I got so many compliments on this beautiful collar and it has held up wonderfully to our rough and tumble visits (including some friendly grabbing and tugging from doggy playmates). I've already shared the link with multiple friends and family who were looking for a similar solution for their dogs. When (or if) this collar will need to be replaced, I would buy again from Snell's Gun Dog Supply- every customer service interaction was polite and prompt and the collar arrived within a week! Thank you again for providing excellent services and products!

Perfect Size for Standard Wirehaired Dachshund

I always order my dogs' collars from Gun Dog Supply and have never been disappointed! The 13NS in the 3/4" biothane collar is the perfect size for my 6 month old German Standard Wirehaired Dachshund, Hermann. It is not too heavy and sits in the middle hole with some room to grown into. Excellent quality collar and name plate. We've already tested it in the pond and no stink! The Forest Green color is beautiful - a perfect dark teal! It looks great on my wildboar colored dachshund!

This is the highest quality dog collar that I've had for a hunting dog. Yeah, you can buy fancier or more exotic collars, but for a hunting dog that's going to put a collar through the ropes, you can't beat this.

We got a new French Brittany and as soon as he got his official name. Ordered one of these collars. All my dogs have worn biothane collars and for the price they are awesome for active dogs. No complaints at all. Collars last forever I haven't had one break or fall apart. And our older dog runs pretty hard daily.

This collar fits our mini schnauzer perfectly. The 3/4in width is great and the bright color makes her easy to spot. The name plate eliminates the use for a tag that could get caught on something. Very impressed with the quality as well. My dad has been using GDS collars on his hunting dogs for years, so I know this one will stand the test of time.

I have used these for all my hunting dogs. I have the brightly colored ones for around the house and yard, and the camo colors for hunting. They do not absorb odors and are very sturdy. I take great confidence knowing the name plate has all relevant info in case my dog is lost.
