This product is real close to being good. Dog figures out how to use it eventually. Mount is good and bottle is good quality. That said, it leaks or drips constantly creating a mess in the kennel. Instead of a waterproof lid like from a Nalgene type bottle the manufacturer opted to use the top from a parmasean cheese container that causes a lot of spills and profanity inside the house. Nobody contains water this way.

The bottle did drip from the cap but an adjustment to the washer seemed to fix it. Brilliant idea having a flip top to fill it!

I like it, but dog won't touch. And won't go in crate now unless I have to leave. Was her safe place. I took it out after couple of weeks. Still won't go in. Wish I knew what she is thinking because she gets so thirsty she drinks till sick when I get home. Thanks anyway. I tried.

My first one lasted about 4 months before it started dripping, but my Dobermans put their K9 teeth in the whole and after a while it wears a spot in the tube, and I have to get another one. But it is better than them out of a bowl and throwing up!
