The Mendota Slip Lead is a quality leather lead that works well on my setter. It is east to adjust and position on her neck and helps to enforce the behavior I am teaching her.Great product!

I love it.

I like it; it is sturdy for a strong headed dog. It doesn't stay directly under the chin and high on the neck, but it is just as needed.

Perfect for hunt test use. Easy to quickly lasso/slip over your dog's head when walking off the line, and no hassle of configuring or looping a choke chain or rope lead. Lightweight and easily rolls up to put in your pocket.

I work at a doggie daycare and boarding facility, and this slip lead is an invaluable tool. I use it throughout my day to safely move dogs. I also use it when I am managing a playgroup of dogs. I will put the slip lead on a snarky or rowdy dog to keep them by my side for a brief timeout. I love this lead!

So far so good! I was using a Gentle Leader for my Boxer. She became very irritable with it, so my trainer suggested the slip lead. She seems happier on our walks with it, and I'm still able to control her.

Great lead made of bridle leather. The leather is stiff, but will soften with time. Well made and will last for years.

I co-own a mobile pet grooming service. Our groomers use these leads to walk dogs to/from our trucks. These are by far the best slip leads we have ever used. I do not fear that a dog will slip out of this lead, or pull it out of my grasp. It is comfortable to use, and even with the most rambunctious dogs, I don't worry about getting ropeburn on my hands. These will be the only leads we use in the future.

If I would have seen it in person I would have passed. The stopper on the lead slides around and does not hold the lead tight against my dog. Also the leather is tough and harder than expected. I'm sure a few months of wear and tear will break it in. Overall this lead is good for a docile dog that needs few corrections
