Very impressive quality at a fair cost!

Great quality at a fair price point. I don't love the metal ring in the handle and may remove it at some point in the near future if it continues to annoy me.Leash was a little stiff when I first got it but thanks to other reviews I planned on applying some leather conditioner. I used Red Wing Boot brand leather conditioner (pure bees wax). Applied it thick and gently lathered it into the leather. Let it sit over night in the shoe box then buffed it with a rag. The leash is 50% softer and more pliable. It feels nicely broken in. So much nicer than the nylon or similar leashes. Can't believe I waited so many years before investing in a quality leather leash.
