Great product! I love the distinctive sound of the bell compared to other cow bells when you have multiple dogs in the field. It has held up to all the brush beating she's giving it so far.Dogs only 6mo. old but we go out the field 3 times a week for the last month to train. The bell has held up well.

I have a German shorthaired pointer that ranges from 60 to 200 yards in the grouse woods. I went through several other bells that were too loud. I couldn't even thinknin the woods. This bell is loud enough to keep track of the dog up to 150 yards but quiet enough to not drive you crazy and spook the birds. I imagine the leather backing ks there to keep the bell from beating the dog up? The snap allows it to spin though. I put the bell above her ecollar to keep it from hitting her chest and legs.Overall I am happy with this bell price and sound.

I have a small French brittany who doesn't range that far but is hard to keep track of in brush. This bell was just the right size to hang of her 3/4 in collar and tone perfect for her range.

These are my favorite ... bonus is the lovely jingle which alerts forest animals while we are hiking and riding and helps me hear where my pup is when I don't have visibility. They not only have a pleasant sound but look good too ! I have purchased several for myself and friends ...great product and great price.

This bell is loud enough to let you know where your dog is but quiet enough not to be annoyed from hearing it all day long. I bought four and will be buying more in the future.

These bells work great in tall cover or anything obstructing your view. They are made really well and don't hang down too low as do some of the others. They were just what I was looking for to put on my dogs.

Can't hear it. It moves too much to rattle the bell.

Overall length is too long. When the dogs are running, it flops around and hits them.

Works a lot better than the stuff sold on ebay.

Not loud enough. Takes a lot of motion to make it ring. My 12 year old chocolate lab moves pretty slow.

Use this bell for the Weims, and it is excellent for these dogs. English Setter is very hard hunting and tough on equipment. I'm afraid bell would be torn off relatively quickly, so I use a different style bell for the Setter.

Great bell. The jaw on the snap could have a wider opening.

She doesn't try to chew on it, as she did with the one more cowbell-like that I bought locally.
