Nylon Check Cord -- White 1/4" x 10 ft.

I can't believe I'm writing a review of a rope. But this six foot drag line is absolutely perfect. We had been using a thin nylon leash before, but it knotted easily, got chewed, and the handle on it was a concern. Our "puppy" is now one year old and 65 pounds, with decent recall and obedience skills, but we still need a drag line at times to enforce some commands and help with the jumping problem when people come over to the yard, or if we need to manage behavior like getting him out of a bad situation when he's not really listening to us. This line is substantial enough that we can grab it or step on it firmly to prevent jumping and get him into a sit or other skill and stop the jumping. He does not even notice it as he runs all over the yard, and I have peace of mind knowing there's no handle to get caught on something. He has zero interest in chewing it - and he chews everything! I'm not sure why it's white - it immediately turned brown from dragging outside - but whatever. We bought two, so we keep one for indoor use only. Best of all, this simple line lets our son manage the dog more effectively when the dog gets jumpy and hyper. So could you just buy a rope at the hardware store and put a clip on it? Sure. We told ourselves we'd do this for months, and never did, and then I stumbled on this website while searching for drag lines late at night, as one does. The ropes arrived in a couple of days and instantly solved many of our problems. I've now written a whole paragraph about a white rope with a clip. It's worth it. If you're here reading reviews of ropes, you're probably in the same situation we were in. Just get it!

They do exactly what they are supposed to, and have been great for my puppies. Customer service is also excellent.

I was looking for the perfect drag line for my new puppy, this one was the best I found and I use it daily! I've had others that frayed at the end or that the puppy could tear apart with her teeth, but this one has stood the test of time! If you are looking for a good drag line, you can't lose with this one!

used this for a puppy when a regular cord is too heavy. It's strong, durable, and very easy to handle for both my and the pup. I went back and bought a second--one for the house, and one for the truck.

Our new pup took to this drag line easily and it gives us control without chasing him around. Just step on the drag line when I need him to stay near. Next will be proper leash training but this is a must have for owners of new puppies.

This check cord is effective and our new puppy has not chewed it up. It sure helps when the puppy decides to not come. Six feet to step on as the puppy screams by will help her to remember to come next time!

Very helpful in training our 10 wk old puppy. Quality very good. For some reason, these are hard to find in stores here.

This check cord is great! I decided to purchase this 10ft check cord instead of the 6ft puppy drag line because sometimes while out walking in the field my pup wants to wander farther than 6ft from me. The 10 ft cord solved my issues, and I can get my pup under control in a snap when I need to. I began using this cord when my pup was 10 weeks old, and he doesn't mind dragging it along on our runs.

It's okay. The clip is kind of big for a small puppy, but it works.

Because of length, knot is easily, but that is to be expected. So light the dogs forget it is on, which is the point.

Great product, served its purpose for our pup, and we will keep it around for the next one. Doesn't see any use now unfortunately.
