OmniPet Bravo leash is perfect for my busy, pulling-prone, sometimes leash aggressive Australian Shepherd. It is sturdy, strong, and has an equally strong snap. It is easy to handle and feels secure in my hand. I had been looking for a double ply leash for several years and was pretty excited when I found this one at Gun Dog Supply. I bought two of these leashes, and should I need another, know where to find them now. I highly recommend this leash.

I kid you not - I have been looking for YEARS for leash like this to replace the old ones I had for my two ~100lbs GSDs. I have repeatedly searched my local dog stores and online, and everything I could find was made out of cheesy or slippery material, had flimsy metal clips, or were too short (I prefer a 6ft leash). My GSDs walk well on leash 95% of the time, but man that 5% of the time my little 120lbs self needs a solid leash to keep control. I'm very happy to have found these leashes on Gun Dog Supply store website. This leash is very well made, sturdy, and easy to grip, and I have no concerns about the clip possibly breaking. The one thing I wish the leash had was a D ring by the handle to clip the poop-bag holder, but I understand that the leash was intended to be sold for gun dogs and not family pets :) I'll be buying additional of these leashes before I can no longer find them again.

I have used this exact same leash for both training and walking my Saint Bernards since the early 1990's. Not only have I worked at PetSmart I know all about dog supplies and have never been able to find a better dog leash out there. These are extremely strong and can be looped in your hand to shorten it to be used as a "safety lead" to have more control over your dog when walking. The width of the leash also assures comfort especially if your dog should pull on the leash. These are simply the best if you have large or giant-sized dogs such as for Labrador Retrieves on up to Saint Bernards, Mastiffs and Great Danes or any other working breed. It's also nice to have an extra one to keep in your car for emergencies or by the front door incase your dog gets loose.

These are great heavy duty leashes for general dog walking, but not suitable for wet conditions. If they get wet, they stay wet for a day.

Exactly what I was looking for in a heavy duty leash.

The OmniPet Bravo nylon leash is by far the best quality nylon leash I have purchased. The snap allows quick easy attachment to the dog collar. I have had many other brands of leashes in the past but would recommend this one to other dog owners.

I have half a dozen of these leashes, a couple are 8 years old, all continue to hold up well. The 2-ply nylon is exceptionally resistant to fraying, the hand loop is big enough for use with a glove and the swivel spring clip is strong enough for my rotties. I highly recommend.

We ordered two leashes to replace two old, faded ones for our two Labs. The clasps are the snap-on type rather the the button slide. We had not used these before but find them to be easier to hook on, about the same effort to unhook. Leash material seems robust. Colors are quite bright (red and blue) but not yet dragged through mud and across concrete and asphalt. For the cost, they are a High Four.

A little on the heavy side. Much stronger than a Border Collies needs, but well worth the money.

A great basic leash. For the money, you're crazy to look at anything else. I let my GSP run around with this attached to her collar. It gets dragged across the ground, sidewalks, through the water and everything. Besides some general fraying you get from nylon, it is holding up great! Love it!
