K9 Trauma kits

I purchased this kit for my local Sheriff's department for their new K9 Ruby. She is still in training and doing very well. Four years ago I purchased for the other four K9s this trauma kit as well. When the K9 Deputy came to my home to pick up these kits he stated that these kits had everything to save their dogs. That they were the best!!!

An excellent complete kit that you can take along either in a vehicle or backpacking. Sure, you could spend a great deal of time, effort and expense purchasing individual items in the kit -- however its doubtful you'd be able to duplicate this complete kit which includes a very good quick medical book as well. Well worth the money and peace of mind.

So Gundogsupply actually gets a 5-star review....the product not so much. We had an issue with a component being missing from the kit, gundogsupply contacted the manufacturer and resolved the question (see below), then comp'd my bill to account for the problem (easy-peasy)! The kit is as advertised and contains more items than I frankly know how to use. Please be aware that there is no digital thermometer included (although ReadyDog claims on their website and inventory list on the product that it does). Tools (scissors and forceps) are on the cheap side - they could have been of higher quality given the $170 price tag.
