Very sturdy, with excellent ventilation. It gives me peace of mind when I travel with my dog. My 25 lb Sheltie fits comfortably in it on our frequent long trips to train and compete. I have it secured to the floor of my minivan with locking ratchet tiedowns. I think it would be too small for a lab or golden to spend much time in, even though the manufacturer recommends in for larger dogs. I intend to purchase the storage tray as well.
