I purchased this add-a-collar to replace one other add-a-collar (SDR-AW) I purchased several years ago after it stopped working ( would charge but no any longer communicate with my 1225 hand held unit) to go with my original 1225 hand held unit which I also purchased several years ago (I run 3 upland dogs at a time). After I programmed the new SDR-AX collar to operate with my existing 1225 hand held unit the new collar as well as the original collar that came with my original 1225 unit as well as a second add-a-collar (SDR-AW) I had also purchased several years ago as well, all three (3) collar receivers operate perfectly with my original SportDog 1225 hand held unit. I am well pleased with the operation of the new the performance of my new SDR-AX add-a-collar. Now that I figured out it is the original add-a-collar that has the communication issue I wish I could find out how to get it repaired as well.
Thank you
