Solid control.

My original remote sending signals this year after it's been in use for around 8yrs. Love the brand sportdog and this hound hunter helps we work my dogs nicely.
Pros
  • Small strong and solid unit with AWESOME collars to boot. Battery life is solid and the collars can take a good beating.
Cons
  • If anything the price could of been for free ; )

I purchased this system years ago from gundogsupply and it has worked well , I damaged my transmitter and had to replace it so I now have the new one , I run five collars on beagles , I use it mostly for handling ( tone feature ) and the pup that decides it wants to run something other than a rabbit .
Pros
  • Does the job for me
Cons
  • As with any system it has its draw backs , some times hard to get penetration in brush when the foliage is thick in the summer , and of course if a dog goes over a ridge it wont work there .
