Steel Dog Bell with Brass Snap

I bought this bell to clip on my lab while scouting moose in grizz country. Plenty of noise to warn bears.

Will likely work well for a bigger dog but not so much for my little spaniels. Tried to modify it to see if it would help and the modifications failed.

It's a quality product and certainly a clear sound unfortunately my retriever (so far) hates it. The brass latch clip for collar attachment combined with the strap equals about 4' and I believe it's hitting him in the chin . I put it on him , he shook his head ,did a circle and sat down and refused to move until I took it off of him. I'm gonna try a shorter attachment combo for his collar as he is a well mannered dog who is generally ready for anything. Again, it's a quality product, but my dogs not taking to it thus far. Possibly I need a smaller unit.

Great bell to put on the pup's collar. Not there yet but will let me know where she is going and what she is getting in to. 6 mos. old and not behaving quite correctly yet. This will come we can hope.

Bought this for a friend who has some hearing loss. He can't hear high pitched bells anymore. This one was big enough and in a range he could hear. Loud enough to track the dog at 40 yards through the cat-tails and grouse woods.
