Pleased so far. Would rate higher, but have only used it two or three times, and it still feels stiff and new. Probably important to note that the stiffness of this check cord may not be for everybody, as it does have some notable memory, but I bet some of that will go away with use and wear. Plus, I like that about it. It seems to keep it from tangling on the brush. It comes with a bowline knot, rather than the 'serving' many may be accustomed to, but not to worry. That is one of the strongest knots you can tie. Note: be sure to tighten and inspect that knot on your new cord.

I liked this product until I used it in the field. The quality and price are good no issue there. My disappointment was that when I was field training the tied end came off the brass connector and I lost the check cord in light grass. Even with the orange color I could not find it. Word of caution check the knot before you take it out in the field. My lab is 8 M /55 lbs

The hard nature of this check cord really does help brush and grass not to stick to it. I threw a half hitch in the end of it and it's working very well.
